SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** I have a 3 monitor setup on a AMD 6900XT GPU. All three have been working recently. However, after an update the one monitor using Display Port does not get a signal AFTER login to KDE Plasma in Fedora 36. Tried in Fedora 36 in KDE 5.24.5. With kernel 5.17.12-300 and also trying kernel 5.17.11 and 5.17.9. This issue happens in Wayland and X11 The monitor does appear to show once logged in in Display Configuration (it's there as in a space for it but it's blank space). Tried installing LXQT DE and all three monitors work fine. It's just an issue in KDE Plasma as far as I can test. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Login to KDE Plasma (X11 or Wayland) OBSERVED RESULT 2. After logging in two monitor (HDMI) initiate. The third monitory DP connection gets a 'no signal' error and remains blank. EXPECTED RESULT 3. 3rd monitor initializes SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.24.5 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.93.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION xrandr output: Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 7840 x 2560, maximum 16384 x 16384 DisplayPort-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) DisplayPort-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) HDMI-A-0 connected primary 2560x1440+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 698mm x 393mm 2560x1440 143.97*+ 120.00 59.95 1920x1200 143.97 1920x1080 120.00 119.88 60.00 60.00 50.00 59.94 1600x1200 143.97 1680x1050 119.99 59.88 1280x1024 119.96 75.02 60.02 1440x900 119.85 59.90 1280x800 143.97 1280x720 60.00 50.00 59.94 1440x576 50.00 1024x768 75.03 70.07 60.00 1440x480 60.00 59.94 800x600 72.19 75.00 60.32 56.25 720x576 50.00 720x480 60.00 59.94 640x480 75.00 72.81 66.67 60.00 59.94 720x400 70.08 HDMI-A-1 connected 1440x2560+6400+0 left (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 597mm x 336mm 2560x1440 74.60 + 59.95* 1920x1200 74.60 1920x1080 60.00 50.00 59.94 1600x1200 74.60 1680x1050 59.88 1280x1024 75.02 60.02 1440x900 59.90 1280x960 60.00 1280x800 59.91 1152x864 75.00 1280x720 60.00 50.00 59.94 1440x576 50.00 1024x768 75.03 70.07 60.00 1440x480 60.00 59.94 832x624 74.55 800x600 72.19 75.00 60.32 56.25 720x576 50.00 720x480 60.00 59.94 640x480 75.00 66.67 60.00 59.94 720x400 70.08 DisplayPort-2 connected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 3840x2160 60.00 + 60.00 50.00 59.94 30.00 25.00 24.00 29.97 23.98 29.97 2560x1440 59.95 1920x1080 60.00 50.00 59.94 30.00 25.00 24.00 29.97 23.98 1600x1200 60.00 1680x1050 59.95 1600x900 60.00 1280x1024 75.02 60.02 1280x800 59.81 1152x864 75.00 1280x720 60.00 50.00 59.94 1024x768 75.03 60.00 1440x480 60.00 59.94 832x624 74.55 800x600 75.00 60.32 720x576 50.00 720x480 60.00 59.94 640x480 75.00 60.00 59.94 720x400 70.08 DisplayPort-3 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
This sounds like KScreen is disabling the output for some reason. Can you try renaming (not deleting) the folder "~/.local/share/kscreen"?

Can you upload the old, and the new folder for comparison?
