STEPS TO REPRODUCE

2. Focus to another room
3. Have someone else type in the first room

OBSERVED RESULT

EXPECTED RESULT
One should see a circle with the amount of unread messages

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10 21H1
NeoChat 22.04
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.94.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Comment 1 Jan Bidler 2022-06-26 20:50:08 UTC
This is apparently not a Windows issue; have the same issue on the follwing machine as well:
Linux: Linux Mint 20
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.8

NeoChat: 22.04
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0
Qt Version: 5.15.5

Was this something maybe fixed after the release of 22.04? I can't remember seeing this bug on my from-source compiled instance
Comment 2 Jan Bidler 2022-06-28 09:24:35 UTC
Does not seem to have been fixed after 22.04, as I still experience it on the same machine as detailed above on 22.06
Which means, that there is some weird difference between this machine, and the machine I run my source compiled builds on...

Is this still an ongoing issue there were improvements for 22.11 mainly your own https://invent.kde.org/network/neochat/-/merge_requests/506.

So is this still a problem as I can't replicate on 22.11 or master?

Haven't tested, but would presume so.
