SUMMARY
I've bought an Huawei Tablet and Laptop and found it really useful that you can have your Phone or your Tablet on your Laptop, or use your Tablet as a second screen for your Laptop. Unfortunately this is only limited to Huawei Devices and Windows. It's a shame that we get such technology only limited on Windows since it's not even developed by Huawei and their PC Manager is just a Desktop App which can only installed on their Laptops because they check the devices name, etc.

I'd love to see such features in KDE Connect or an fimiliar App because you're coming the closest to the functionality of Huawei Share. It would also help everyone who has a mobile Setup because they travel a lot or use their Laptop at School/Work and at Home.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
I'm going to describe how the screen sharing works here.
1. You connect your tablet to your computer through the Huawei PC Manager App. I'm assuming they're scanning the Bluetooth or WiFi for that.
2. Then you have there an option where you can device between many modes like Extending, Mirring or just sharing Files
3. If you choose for example Extending a App opens on your Tablet which well, work like a second touch-monitor and is also recognized like some by Windows.

About 1: If you have your Tablet or Phone connected ones you are also able to connect them trough NFC again without clicking through Menus. This is maybe an cool addition for KDE Connect in general for example for the Mouse Pad feature.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10 and above
EMUI: 11 and above
Harmony OS: 2.0 and above

You can use a tablet or phone as a second monitor with RDP on Linux and GNOME, e.g. this guide. [1]

Ping again for this. Would be damn cool to have! And the original isn’t from Huawei but Apple: Sidecar on iPadOS / macOS was the first OS-vendor level implementation (2019), followed by Samsung in collaboration with Microsoft’s "Phone-Link" Windows software, now with some other phone OEMs supporting it too. This makes it widely available on macOS and Windows, and now even fricking Gnome, lol ^^
