As the title suggests, i'd like to sort photos by shooting date. Digikam 7.6 can sort photos by creation date or last modified date.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Manjaro Linux using XFCE 4.16 with digikam 7.6 ( downloaded by the repository of Manjaro )

And what should the shooting date be from the metadata? The digiKam "Creation" date is the OriginalDateTime from the metadata of the images. Only in the case that no metadata is available, it is obtained from the file date.

Sorry, I misread the creation date in Digikam. The camera's date had been incorrectly configured. The difference lied in the year field
