Right now there is no way to show original apps tray icon (mainly for notification counter in telegram's icon) instead of themed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Try to find an option for this.
2. There is none.

Can you elaborate on what the problem is that's causing you to want a workaround here? Is it Bug 432293?

Yes. Mainly because of this bug (and it's stagnated state) i create this bugreport.

We should just fix that bug then. We don't work around our own bugs. :)
