Description Lastique 2022-06-02 15:35:20 UTC
SUMMARY

In the System Monitor application, the text in the Command line column is always centered horizontally. This representation is not convenient to read, as command lines are typically of very different lengths, meaning the start of the command lines with the executable names don't line up. This makes it difficult to search for a process based on its command line.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Start System Monitor and enable Command line column in the process list. Make the column wider, if necessary, to view most of the command lines in full.

OBSERVED RESULT

Command lines are centered horizontally.

EXPECTED RESULT

Command lines should be aligned to left by default. Ideally, there should be a way to configure alignment for any Text-only columns.
