Text marker comparison

It is possible to duplicate text cursors (the little things showing where the current cursor/selection is)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Case A:
1. Go to a text prompt and select it by tapping on it
2. Tap on it again
3. Notice two overlapping text markers

Case B:
1. Go to a text prompt and select it by tapping on it
2. Type some text
3. Select all text via double tapping on text / holding on it
4. Notice four overlapping text markers

OBSERVED RESULT
Text markers appear which overlap

EXPECTED RESULT
Text markers should never overlap
