Thunderbird allows you to click-drag on the calendar, and where you start and stop determines the timing and length of the event. It would be useful to have on Kalendar too to facilitate quicker event creation.

Adding my +1. This is a very useful feature and also present in KOrganizer, most mobile calendar apps, etc.
