Created attachment 149325 [details] bug.png The krunner shortcut is not working by default. Krunner is listed twice in system settings keyboard shortcuts. 1. An entry with broken icon, see bug.png This entry is not functional at all, pressing the keyboard shortcuts configured there does nothing. 2. An entry with a colorful icon, see bug2.png. This entry does not have any keyboard shortcuts configured. After adding shortcuts to entry 2., see bug3.png, krunner actually comes up. krunner --version krunner 5.22.5 /etc/lsb-release DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=21.10 DISTRIB_CODENAME=impish DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 21.10"

(In reply to Alexander Lohnau from comment #6) > >Also, did you have any custom shortcuts defined? > > Please provide this information. Yes, there are some for KMenuEdit, and Konqueror, although i don't remember defining them myself.
Then I do not know what the issue is here. Moving it to KGlobalAccess, because that frameworks is responsible for managing the shortcut stuff.
