I mean, there is no induction that unit conversion is not working, it still in the setting of krunner. Usually when an optional dependency is not installed the settings are not there or there is a message that said it required for specific function

It does interact with the distro-packaged plugins. IMHO the message "The content available has been uploaded by users like you" gives an indication, that one can only install third-party addons. With the bug being filed at EndeavourOS, is here anything solvable as part of this bug report?
