Description Papoteur 2022-05-24 08:22:49 UTC
SUMMARY
I select a rectangular zone which is wider than the displayed window, thus by placing the cursor beyond the border, the selection is displaced to select a larger zone.
However, in this case, the image is not (always) complete. The vertical band that was masked is not copied, it is blank. In the same time, the masked part beyond the horizontal border is present. The image size is the one expected.
I know that I could reduce the zoom to have all the image already displayed, but in this case, the resolution is not so optimal.

I am also having this issue on Fedora 37. For the current project we're in I regularly receive very high resolution pdfs. I want to capture parts of it into images for easier processing. However when zoomed out to fit the screen too many details are lost and the selected screen capture is no longer suitable. So it would help a lot if I could zoom in sufficiently and then capture more than just what's visible on screen.
