Hello?
Can anybody help me?
Regards, Dan
Comment 2 Thomas Baumgart 2022-06-05 14:46:08 UTC
Not sure if I can help. This error is usually provided when the XML structure of the data file has a problem. You may want to take a look into that file if you can spot something. In general it is compressed, see https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/kmymoney/kmymoney/details.formats.compressed.html howto uncompress it to get a plain text file.

Newer versions provide an indication as to what the problem can be, but 5.0.6 apparently does not have that (too old).

Looking at the filename indicates that this is a 'snapshot' version. Maybe, updating from https://kmymoney.org/snapshots.php#kmymoney5-aq6 can help, though I expect some corruption on the file.

I just downloaded the portable Windows packages for kmymoney 5.0.6 (win32 and win64) and unpacked them on a Windows 10 host, but could not reproduce the mentioned problem with both versions, even if I renamed the etc/ or share/ folder, which also makes me think that your package is somehow corrupted and needs to be downloaded again.
