SUMMARY
I have some partitions in NTFS mounted with ntfs-3g, and thumbnails for at least mp4 and jpg files (didn't try other formats) don't work anymore.
Thumbs in my ext4 partitions work as expected.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Mount a NTFS drive with ntfs-3g
2. Place some JPG and/or MP4 files anywhere in the partition
3. Open with Dolphin the location where the files reside

OBSERVED RESULT
Thumbnails for files not being generated, I just get the standard multimedia Icon corresponding to the file format.

EXPECTED RESULT
The thumbnail for each file should show up.

Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon 5.24

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I can't tell when this started happening since I've been out home for three months, when I started using my computer again I did all the updates and there's when it stoped working.
