Cannot reproduce; works for me on that website with Firefox 100.0 in native Wayland mode and git master KDE stuff.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #2) > Cannot reproduce; works for me on that website with Firefox 100.0 in native > Wayland mode and git master KDE stuff. Let me re-check when I'm on 5.25 :)
> Cannot reproduce; works for me on that website with Firefox 100.0 in native Wayland mode and git master KDE stuff. Can still reproduce it on 5.25.5 and on git master.
The same happens for me for, when I open the "history" drop down panel of the FF 104.
Firefox re-creates the popup surface when hovering tooltips. While kwin should add new subsurfaces when parent is committed, Firefox should not re-create the popup when it wants to show a tooltip.
Can reproduce with Firefox 106.0.2 on neon unstable. Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.100.0 Qt Version: 5.15.6 Graphics Platform: Wayland
Thanks for confirming! Can also still reproduce it on openSUSE TW.
