STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download Digikam  - Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS 64 bits
2. Open Digikam

OBSERVED RESULT

I get this message: Error while opening the database

EXPECTED RESULT

I am a new user, have installed Digikam but rad ran it only a couple of times before I got the error message.
I would like to restore Digikam original settings and try to make it work properly this time.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS 64 bits

Are you using Ubuntu's snap package? Snap packages use a sandbox and are not usable for digiKam. We no longer support Snap or Flatpak packages due to a variety of issues. Use our AppImage for Ubuntu.

Any feedback here? If you delete the configuration file under ~/.config/digikamrc, you can start with a new digiKam initial setup.
