STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Open Audacity and Dolphin
2. Drag and drop any audio file from Dolphin to Audacity

OBSERVED RESULT
Drag and drop does not work

EXPECTED RESULT
Audacity should automatically import file
Note: Same problem occurs while using other applications in Plasma Wayland. Drag and drop works perfectly in Plasma X11.

Can confirm. However this appears to be an issue in Audacity: when you do the drag, the cursor changes to be a "plus sign" cursor, which means that the app is indicating to the system that it will accept the drag. If it actually doesn't, then it's a bug in the app itself. I would recommend that you report this to Audacity's developers.
