Created attachment 148650 [details] Noto sans font comparision as observed in Dolphin. General font looks like a condensed version of the original font before the update (Noto Sans). The font was Noto Sans 13pt before. After the update, the font is same but its appearance is different. The bug seems to be in the reently updated `noto-fonts` package as downgrading this package to version 20201226 solves the problem. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Update the `noto-fonts` package to version 20220502. 2. Restart SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.93.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.15.37-1-MANJARO (64-bit) I have added a screenshot which shows the differenes in Dolphin.

I would suggest that you report this to the Noto Sans evelopers (Google) as that font is not a KDE project. Alternatively, you can report it to your distro as that may have introduced an error in their packaging, as I find it somewhat unlikely that Google broken Noto Sans for everyone in this way.
