It's not plasmoid!!!
kdeconnect-indicator use wrong device status icon on menu.
For example, trusted and connect device show right current status on KDE Connect Settings window, but show as "disconnected" icon on indicator menu.
Also this tested on Linux Mint with Cinnamon DE and reproduced too.
