Description thwrnr0 2022-04-30 00:06:12 UTC
SUMMARY
After the recent update, the rendering settings window doesn't have a control for output audio quality. For video quality, there are only 5 levels (0-25-50-75-100%). While it is more intuitive now (higher numbers mean higher quality), it doesn't allow fine tuning of the CRF setting of codecs.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open/create a Kdenlive project
2. Press the Render button
3. Select Generic->MP4-H264/AAC output format
4. Tick the "More options" box
5. Look at the Settings pane

OBSERVED RESULT
For audio, there is only on/off tick box. For video, only 5 quality levels are available.

EXPECTED RESULT
Fine tuning of audio and video quality is possible.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: openSUSE Tumbleweed, 5.17.4-1-default
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.93.0
