When the information panel is open, while the cursor hovers over a file, that file is then previewed instead of the actually highlighted file. The preview goes back to the highlighted file when you move the cursor away. Also seen here https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/fflp37/disable_preview_from_mouse_hover_in_dolphin/ This is a big annoyance, especially when media like a video is playing in the information panel, and while scrolling through the folder, it is desired to have the file keep playing during this. But as soon as the cursor rests for a short while, the actually selected video stops playing in the information panel, and the panel switches to the file that the cursor hovers over. As far as I can tell it is not currently possible to disable this. It would be nice if this were possible, and it should be easy to implement this option.
