SUMMARY

Kdenlive shows webp images correctly in thumbnail and clip monitor, but in project monitor it shows up as a blank white image.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to https://developers.google.com/speed/webp/gallery1 and download a webp image
2. Add image to project bin (it shows up correctly)
3. Drag image to timeline and seek cursor to image.

OBSERVED RESULT
Project Monitor shows plain white image.

EXPECTED RESULT
Project Monitor shows image contents.


SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Ubuntu 20.04 using official kdenlive-21.12.3-x86_64.AppImage

if not appimage, need to install qt5-imageformats.
