places panel highlights

For network locations or external devices, the entry in the Places panel gets the little indicator in the bottom right. When the entry is highlighted, the monochrome part of the icon is inverted, but the indicator turns into an ugly formless blob. It seems any coloured part just gets turned to white. See the attached images.

I'm not sure if this is an issue in the application or the icons. I'd note the appearance of the highlights in Dolphin is not consistent with the Places panel in the file picker (which uses a lower contrast highlight).
