I had a similar issue
has something to do with the container of the audio mixer in the bottom right
If you move all views out there than you can resize the main window

But no idea what the root cause is

A few notes:
My screen has 768 pixel height. The minimum height of kdenlive seems to be somewhat about 760.
You can increase the height of the window (but not shrink further)


@ luansouza what's your screen resolution?
