Akonadi is consistently creating this file for me: $HOME/.config/Unknown Organization/akonadi_unifiedmailbox_agent.conf_changes.dat I suppose it should go to $HOME/.config/akonadi instead. OS: Debian testing. Akonadi: 21.12.3.
Any news on this?
Still happens in recent Plasma / kde gear.
pretty sure this is a kmail issue.
This seems to be fixed in new versions in that the akonadi_unifiedmailbox_agent.conf_changes.dat file is being written into $HOME/.config/akonadi/ The $HOME/.config/Unknown\ Organization version is old and can be removed iow: the up-to-date version is in $HOME/.config/akonadi/ and the old, unused version is in $HOME/.config/Unknown\ Organization
Do you know in what version it was fixed? I have a fairly recent modification time for that for KDE pim stack in current Debian testing. Kmail: 24.12.2 Akonadi: 24.12.2 I deleted it for now and will pay attention if it will appear again or not.
Just tested - with above versions - it does get recreated still after next session log-in.
hmm.. you're right. I see it magically reappeared for me in ~/.config/Unknown\ Organization re-open
I didn't even run kmail btw. Just akonadi regular stuff I suppose that runs on startup.
FWIW, I just tested this also and it does it does get recreated, running git unstable: kmail-25.07.70~13.git10bd85c-1.fc42 akonadi-server-25.07.70~15.git2c90691-1.fc42
