Description Jack Hill 2022-04-12 10:22:37 UTC
SUMMARY
Currently the dashboard only shows one row of recent applications and has a big empty space beneath it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a few different apps
2. Open Application Dashboard

OBSERVED RESULT
Only one row of Recent Applications is filled

EXPECTED RESULT
All recent applications should be shown, and it should take multiple rows if needed

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20220409
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong component. There's no Bugzilla component for Application Dashboard, and, from looking at the code, it seems like it's a part of Kicker.

Thanks for this feature request. In order for this to be considered, we need more concrete information about the desired behavior.
What do you consider to be "all recent applications"? For instance, all applications opened in the current session (after login)? All apps opened in the last x hours / days? What would be the number limit, if any?

Consider the case of a user who opens all applications in the menu in their current session. Should they all show up?

Thanks.
