Description Marcus Sundman 2022-04-12 07:50:52 UTC
SUMMARY
Most movies are wider than a normal monitor so they have black borders above and below the video. It would be very useful if subtitles could be shown (at least partly) on top of these black borders.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open video with subtitles.
2. Move subtitles as low as possible.

OBSERVED RESULT
Subtitles remain only on top of the video.

EXPECTED RESULT
Subtitles should go on top of the black border below the video.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 22.04/Wayland
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0
