SUMMARY After prolonged period of uptime, I'm unable to change the volume of my system unless I go through System settings. I was able to "fix" it by restarting Latte. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Don't shut down the computer 2. Just sleep 3. OBSERVED RESULT The applet or keyboard shortcut won't respond to the key press, or manipulating the slider. Only by going to System Settings will it work EXPECTED RESULT Latte shouldn't have to be restarted to make the keyboard shortcut and applet work. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Kubuntu 21.10 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.13.0-39-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 24 × AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor Memory: 62.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Sometimes, I can go 5 days and it will be fine. This time, it's just been a day.
I cannot reproduce this with plasmashell and normal panels despite having an uptime of 5 days. This may somehow be a latte dock issue since restarting latte dock fixed it for you, so I'm moving the report there.
