When "facing pages" mode is active, searching for a term will scroll to the wrong place (so wrong that you will not see the term on screen). This behaviour is not noted if single page is selected, with the same file. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a pdf file log enough to force find to scroll some pages to the next result 2. Find a term 3. Click Next (or wait for automatic search) OBSERVED RESULT You will be scroller on a couple of pages without any occourence of the term. If you scroll a bit manually, the term is on a near page. EXPECTED RESULT Shown pages should contain the term. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE NEON LTS KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3
Can not reproduce, do you have trim margins enabled?
(In reply to Albert Astals Cid from comment #1) > Can not reproduce, do you have trim margins enabled? Well, this is interesting: I cannot reproduce it anymore... I swear I was getting this behaviour, but I don't remember exactly how I got there. I updated my system in these days, I don't know if something corrected the faulting behaviour. I think I will close the bug report and open a new one if I will observe it again?
Created attachment 151080 [details] Texas Istruments datasheet Today I opened this file, it opened with facing pages, I searched for SysCtlClockSet and it brought me on a totally wrong place. I tried to press next and previous but there where no item highlighted on the showed pages (there weren't any occurence of the term). I switched to single page and it went straight to the correct place. I changed it back to double face and it now worked correctly.

Still can not reproduce. Could you record a video of it failing?
I can confirm this bug when I have both "Facing pages" and "Continuous" enabled and zoom set to "Fit page".
