See here how to check the path settings https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000549.htm. These 2 paths should be set in the Path variables like: C:\Users\Customer\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38\Scripts\;C:\Users\Customer\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38\;

Mmh. That seems to be either an access right issue or a settings issue. On the screenshot you send there is a button "check configuration" click on that button to see if Kdenlive finds error in the settings.

That just re-pops the message: Cannot find python3, please install it on your system. Is there a tool to verify - reinstall python + dependencies for Windows 7? I did all the installs via Powershell, I see Python 3.8 in my programs list , but maybe something went wrong. Although I didn't get any error during installing, and "pip check" reports back unbroken...

I guess your user name is in Greek. Maybe this is the problem that Kdenlive doesn't find the path to Python. I have asked the developer about.
On Windows, the "Cannot find python3 ..." message pops up if the following command returns empty: QStandardPaths::findExecutable(QStringLiteral("python")); Can you check the name of your python executable (that it is called "python.exe") ? On WIndows, I usually installed python3 using the official download from the python.org website so not sure if this could be an issue. Your username should not impact the problem...

Hey thanks for your comments, I've changed the user name to an English one, couldn't change the home folder name though no matter what I've tried. Since then Kdenlive crashes at launch and shows only the starting logo image but never really launches, even after reinstalling it. (all the other programs work fine) I've also installed python3.8.7 from the official site. It's been installed in the Windows directory and the executable is named py.exe. (Haven't found a python.exe anywhere, except of course from other program installation directories)
The Python.exe should be in this folder: C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38\. YourName = exchange it with your user Name. If not scan your c:\ for Python.exe and post here where do you have find it.
