Created attachment 148006 [details] The file that caused the error I'm trying to open a file called loadsave.js using KWrite. KWrite is set as the default application for js files, but when I click on it, I get the error shown in summary. It works when I right-click it and press open with > KWrite, but it doesn't open when I left-click the file. The file is on a read-only NTFS partition on an HDD. I'm not sure weather this has to do with the file's name, contents, or location. EDIT: nevermind! I just searched what an "exec format error" is, and I've discovered that the file was automatically marked as an executable by mistake. This means that this must be a bug with Dolphin's interpretation of NTFS partitions. PS: it would be a nice feature if the popup telling me to send a bug report would make the URL a link so that I could double-click it and it would open in my default browser.
> This means that this must be a bug with Dolphin's interpretation of NTFS partitions. Dolphin doesn't "interpret" NTFS Please run "ls -l /path/to/file.js" and comment the output here
