SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. Launch Baby keyboard. 3. type letter A OBSERVED RESULT No voice proclaiming A. There was no introductory voice either. EXPECTED RESULT Expected to heard a voice, like on my Chromebook. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Neon KDE (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I went to settings within GCompris, and it claims all the extra resources were downloaded.. I installed GCompris on my Chromebook, and I hear the letter A from the voice. Originally, I installed GCompris from Discover, I I uninstalled it and used apt install. Still don't have a voice proclaiming the letter A. I have installed the latest GCompris, ver 2.3
The next day, voices are working. Perhaps I did something wrong. Anyway, I want to add voices for other keyboard keys, so I tried searching using find to locate the voices. Found no .ogg or .wav files associated with gcompris. Why?
The sounds get downloaded on first run and put into ~/.cache/KDE/gcompris-qt/data2/
