SUMMARY

Deleting the last item in the Clipboard applet clears the clipboard, whether the clipboard contains the contents of that last item or something else that is not listed in the applet.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Completely clear the history in the Clipboard applet;
2. In the settings of the Clipboard applet, enable the "Ignore images" option;
3. Copy some text to the clipboard;
4. Open any image editing app (Kolourpaint in my case);
5. Select all or part of the image and copy it to the clipboard;
6. Make sure the copied image is in the clipboard by pasting it into a new window of the image editing app (or whatever);
7. In the Clipboard applet, delete the only item that contains previously copied text by clicking the delete button that appears when you hover over it (but not the "Clear History" button at the top right of the applet);
8. Try to paste previously copied image into a new window of the image editing app (or whatever).

OBSERVED RESULT

The clipboard is empty.

EXPECTED RESULT

The clipboard still contains the previously copied image.
