Found this while trying to launch Spectacle. Opening Kicker and typing "spec" launches fine. "Spect" hardlocks plasmashell.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kicker
2. Type five characters in.
3. Immediately hardlocks plasmashell and takes it up to 100% CPU

OBSERVED RESULT
Hardlock, needs to be killed and restarted with 100% CPU usage on a core noted on top.

EXPECTED RESULT
Typing another character should be fine.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Checking plasma logs was not helpful because it just hangs and does not write to them.

Still cannot reproduce in Plasma 6. Are you able to, by any chance?
