Description Damian 2022-04-01 15:06:54 UTC
SUMMARY
I normally use flat acceleration profile for my mouse setup. After I switch my mouse to another device (using kvm switch) and return to this one I have flat acceleration profile selected even though mouse feels like adaptive.
After switching to adaptive I feel no difference so I guess it is selected by default after reconnecting the mouse.
My temporary solution to this problem is switching to adaptive and then again to flat.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Normal system startup with flat acceleration profile
2. Disconnect mouse (eg. via kvm switch)
3. Reconnect mouse

OBSERVED RESULT
Acceleration profile: flat is still selected, but adaptive is in use
So to fix the problem I have to select adaptive -> apply (nothing changes) -> select flat -> apply (fixed)

EXPECTED RESULT
Acceleration profile: flat selected and in use (or at least adaptive selected)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro Linux
