Description Jing Mi 2022-03-30 06:59:13 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Write a Wireguard VPN config file with PreUp script that takes some time to finish
2. Start/Restart the Wireguard VPN
3. When the invoked script is running and/or VPN is not fully established, click on plasma-nm applet in system tray

OBSERVED RESULT

The applet is unresponsive, it throws multiple notifications saying that the VPN is down/up all at once after the VPN becomes usable.

EXPECTED RESULT

The applet should pop up normally without waiting, and refresh VPN state after it's connected. During this process it should not block main UI thread.
