Description Aaron Williams 2022-03-29 06:10:04 UTC
SUMMARY
If I am searching in one window then I click on another window and attempt to perform a different find it just continues searching in the first window, even though the cursor is in the second window.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a file in a project
2. Split the view left right
3. Open a second file in the other editor window
4. Place the cursor in the first window and begin searching for a word
5. Click on the second window and attempt to search the second window

OBSERVED RESULT
When searching the second window, especially attempting to continue a search (i.e. F3) it does not perform the second search with the second search term but continues the first search

EXPECTED RESULT
I would expect the search context to change once the search word has been changed and for the search to run in the currently active window
