Description David 2022-03-28 11:59:41 UTC
SUMMARY
If I manually change the system clock, it will ask for the administrator password two times in a row.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right-click the system clock, select "Adjust Date and Time", untick "Set date and time automatically".
2. Optionally, apply the settings, exit the menu, and get into the same menu again.
3. Manually change the system time.

OBSERVED RESULT
Will ask for administrator password twice.

EXPECTED RESULT
Should ask for administrator password only once.

Can confirm.
Comment 2 Nicolas Fella 2022-03-28 22:14:17 UTC
Plasma does not control this behavior. It only makes DBus calls to timedated, the authorization part is purely internal to timedated/polkit.
