Description Sri Harsha Chilakapati 2022-03-27 20:00:48 UTC
SUMMARY

I have two displays, one laptop display, which is kinda small for me so I disabled it. I use an external 4k display instead. However, when I click on the "Identify" button in the kscreen applet, both gets rendered on the external display. I have a video for the issue too.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings
2. Go to Display and Monitor
3. Select Display Configuration
4. Disable laptop display
5. Click on Identify button

OBSERVED RESULT
Disabled display gets identified on the enabled one.

EXPECTED RESULT
Disabled display doesn't get enabled.

Sorry it was only added in 5.26
Comment 5 Sri Harsha Chilakapati 2022-10-11 15:16:47 UTC
No need to be sorry David, this is only a minor issue and doesn't affect my workflow in any way. I'm on Manjaro and 5.26 is not in testing branch here. Will wait for that version to drop. Thanks!
