Description Evert Vorster 2022-03-22 20:18:59 UTC
SUMMARY
***
When adding and modifying loads of effects, sometimes the play head does not respond to a click on the timeline until another clip is selected.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add new effect to a clip
2. Modify the effect
3. Click on the timeline above another clip to position the playhead above that position.

OBSERVED RESULT
Play head stays where it is, does not go to the new position.

EXPECTED RESULT
Play head to go to where the click happened on the timeline.

It's important to notice that it does not happen all the time, but enough of the time to be really annoying.
I have a video on Youtube where I illustrate some other cool thing about Kdenlive, but if you listen to the mouse clicks you can see at least three separate times that I hit this bug in a 8 minute video...

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Running Arch linux, fully up to date to 2022-03-22
Kdenlive was built from source pulled from git 2022-03-22, but this issue has been annoying me for a very long time.
