STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a new document in Kate.
2. Write some text and press Enter.
3. Open the search and replace module.
5. Turn on regular expressions in the module by clicking the {} button.
6. In the search line enter \n (regex for line break).

OBSERVED RESULT
The search results area shows the occurrences as a list, but the occurrences are not highlighted in the text frame. In previous versions this was the case, but now his feature is gone. I could not find any setting to turn it on again.

EXPECTED RESULT
The search results area shows the occurrences, and the occurrences are highlighted in the text frame.

Is this actually a bug in the Frameworks/KTextEditor side?
