I suspect an external dictionary is used, but I'm not sure how to figure out which one. Please file accordingly.

Some rather common medical words are missing:
* occipital
* follicular
* cannula

Hi, depending on the system, Kate uses via sonnet various spellcheckers like hunspell or aspell.

If you want to have the dictionary updated, please report bugs to these projects, we can't forward such stuff for you, sorry, that is out of scope.
