Hallo,
In the last weeks, I face a problem with the AppImages.
When I drag and drop a video to kdenlive, I get the "Transcode Clip" Error.

Qt: 5.14.2 (built against 5.14.2 x86_64-little_endian-lp64)

But the same Video works in old MLT Version.

Thank you for reporting. This transcoding question is by purpose because Kdenlive can't handle clips with variable bitrate (coming from mobile phone). Choose a transcode like "lossy x264" and put the clip into the timeline.
