Description Dahlia 2022-03-12 03:26:08 UTC
SUMMARY
Specifically the brush "pencil 1 sketch (mypaint)" will not reload to its preset when both the shortcut and button has been tried, the only way to reload it to how it originally was is to close and open the program again. it so far only affects this brush as far as I tested.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. select the brush "pencil 1 sketch (mypaint)"
2. edit any aspect of said brush, whether its a property or even just the size
3. brush will refuse to return to preset unless the program is closed and opened again

OBSERVED RESULT
brush wont reload
EXPECTED RESULT
it should be reloading like all the other brushes

Hello!

Can you share the output of Help -> Show system information for bug reports? I can't reproduce the bug on any of my devices (Android, Windows).

Hi, Dahlia!

Could you make a screen recording of the problem? I cannot reproduce the issue, neither in Krita 5.0.2, nor in Krita-nightly :(

this is a video recording of the issue, when i close the program and open it again it goes back as it was. my screen recorder wouldn't show the tabs for brush editing but nothing i did there helped, i even tried a shortcut to reload
Im starting to consider it may be a single case with this bug on my end but im not sure why though

update on the brush issue, I managed to fix it by overwriting by changing the size by one, manually put it back to normal (the app still thinks its an edited brush even when doing that) and overwrote it, now the brush functions normally but im still confused how or why the specific brush was acting up

Hi, Dahlia!

I think the bug got fixed as a result of the brush editor rewrite :) I cannot reproduce the issue anymore in the modern versions of Krita. Please reopen the bug if you still encounter it.
