Created attachment 147442 [details] The error SUMMARY When I was in the middle of a sudo apt-get upgrade, it threw me a error that looked Krita-related error that JPEG isn't a valid MIME type STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. sudo apt-get upgrade with Krita installed, then it will throw a error about Krita OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: N/A macOS: N/A Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian 11 without KDE Plasma (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: N/A KDE Frameworks Version: Never knew. Qt Version: Never knew. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please complain to your distribution, they shouldn't break off an installation for this reason. You could also ask them to update to Krita 5.0, which doesn't list this mimetype anymore, or you could use the appimage (which is recommended, because it fixes a lot of bugs in Qt.)

So, how am I going to get in touch with the maintainers of Krita on the Debian packages?
I don't know, I don't use Debian myself. No doubt the Debian website has a page that explains how to file a bug against Debian.
Okay, I did some debugging and went into the "krita_jpeg.desktop" file that it was complaining about, and did a "Where Is" on jpeg/jfif with Nano, and removed the non-existant one, and saved it, and Krita still seems stable, and opening JPEGs in Krita is still fine so... I think this would have been a self-fix, even though Krita still isn't up-to-date.
