okay, so the summary doesn't explain this well and I am probably going to struggle with words too, so I made a video. basically, if dolphin is closed and you open a folder then the dolphin window gets brought forward/activated/gains focus. However if Dolphin is already running, opening an already open or a new, unopened, folder doesn't result in the dolphin window being brought forward, even though the folder does open in the background. See the below video. https://mega.nz/file/8sBmFRpS#BDBecXbRCfL_CeqFSZZm44r2HxdQKDhY4GDSWTgd9RM tested only on wayland, unsure about X11. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.17.0-rc7-next-20220310-1-next-git (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor Memory: 31.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
tested on X11 - works fine there
