STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Switch to tree view in details view mode
2. expand nested items
3. observe "Size" and "Modified" columns

OBSERVED RESULT

Aside from the two bugs mentioned below, this also fixes another
regression: The spacing on the left of the view does now once again
follow the size of its column header.
