STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open spectacle 2. Close spectacle OBSERVED RESULT No animation like the scaling effect is shown, instead the window disappears instantly EXPECTED RESULT The configured animation is shown just like with other windows. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.16.12-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-10300H CPU @ 2.50GHz Memory: 7.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics
Works for me. How are you closing it? Do all other windows display the animation when closed?
Created attachment 147672 [details] My spectacle configs
For all other apps the animation displays just fine, spectacle is the only one. I usually open it by pressing printscreen, but opening it with the application launcher or terminal doesn't change anything. I've added my spectacle configs in an attachment, I hope this clarifies something.
Well that's strange. Thanks for the info.
Are you talking about the Scale Desktop Effect? If so it works for me. I see it scale down to nothing and vanish. Can you please confirm if this issue is still occurring for you on a recent Plasma version?
