SUMMARY
It would be nice to be able to define a default calendar from Kalendar configuration. By this, I meant the calendar selected by default when creating a new event/task. UI-wise, it could easily be added in the "Calendars" section of the the Settings.

This is now implemented by the fact that Kalendar will remember your last selected todo and event collection
