SUMMARY
It would be nice to have a way to activate Reminders by default and be able to set up the default reminder time in Kalendar. I actually believe a default Reminder should be set up by default, as most events require reminders and it's better having a "false positive" notification than a "false negative" (no notification when you needed one), but this is probably a matter of taste (as for most default policy).

The important part would be for users to be able to set up a default behaviour for new events/tasks.

Thanks for all your work on Kalendar.

Hi,

As a start, we've now added a default reminder for 15 minutes before an event/todo. We'll start working towards making this default reminder user-configurable

I just edited the title to say reminderS (plural), hope that's okay (change it back and let me know to open an extra bug ticket).
In fact, I normally set 3 reminders for every event. I.e., I'd like to request Kalendar to be able to remember a default *set* of custom reminders, for instance 1 hour, 2 hours and 1 day before the event. My phone's calendar has it, so I never have to manually set a reminder when saving a new event.
(Currently, reminders are't working at all for me, opening a separate bug)
