SUMMARY In my experience, this is X11 only, and wayland is not affected. Plasma will randomly start falling asleep and eventually crash. I was not able to find an error log or backtrace, but I am not experienced in this. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Login to Plasma (X11) 2. Wait a bit (Usually takes ~30 seconds) 3. Plasma will start sleeping/crashing System Hardware: Model: Samsung Chromebook 3 (running nativly) Cpu: Intel Celeron n3060 Gpu: Intel UHD 400 Ram: 4GB System Software: Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.15.26-1-lts (64-bit) Video: https://youtu.be/hmEXqqdLrG8 The end of the video was a full system crash, not just Plasma.
If something crashed, we need a backtrace of it so we can figure out what's going on. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Can you please attach one? Thanks!
